Dispatch is our main contact for all incoming calls. These individuals have excellent attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Answering calls from hospitals and other facilities regarding ALS, and BLS ambulatory transit.
- Accurately document all necessary information into Traumasoft.
- Constantly monitoring schedules and ensuring a smooth transition from day to night shift.
- Maintains and updates ETAs; keeping lost and/or late runs to a minimum.
- Consistent interaction with crew members. Works with Supervisor and Operations Manager to address any attendance issues.
- Assist crew members with tablet issues and any questions that they may have about facilities.
- Distribute daily end-of-shift reports to management.
- 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The BLS Ambulance Driver is responsible for providing the safe and efficient operation of ambulances while remaining in compliance with all applicable state, local and federal motor vehicle regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver License.
- Must have a clean background and driving record.
The Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for providing BLS patient care and customer service that meets or exceeds the National Standard of Care and Positive Medical Transport’s standards.
BLS or Basic Life Support is a level of medical care used when dealing with life threatening injury or illness until patient can be provided with full medical care. Unlike ALS, Basic Life support generally does not include any drugs or invasive skills. Basic Life Support services consist of life-saving techniques that are used in pre-hospital emergency medical care, and cover: cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, drowning, foreign body airway obstruction and other life threatening situations. Providing and maintaining clear passageway for gasses (airway), artificial respiration, AED, bleeding control and CPR are some of the techniques included in BLS.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Florida EMT license.
- Must have a current BLS card.
- Must have a clean background and driving record.
The Paramedic is responsible for providing ALS patient care and customer service that meets or exceeds the National Standard of Care and Positive Medical Transport’s standards.
During a situation which requires ALS, the attending PMT Paramedic will provide our patients with top-notch medical care. They are fully capable of performing the following invasive and non-invasive medical procedures: Cardiac ECG Monitoring, External Defibrillation, Transcutaneous Pacing, Intravenous Cannulation (IV), Intraosseous (IO) Access and Infusion, Surgical Cricothyrotomy, Needle Decompression of Tension Pneumothorax, mechanical ventilation and capnography monitoring, and much more.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Florida Paramedic license.
- Must have a current ALS card.
- Must have CPR certification.
- Must have a clean background and driving record.
